Dog Walker Stumbles Across Skeletal Remains That Might Be Human

1

Skeletal remains that might be human were found Friday in Estate Adrian, St. John, by someone walking his dog, Police Department spokesman Melody Rames said Saturday.

“The police are not going to speculate on the ID,” Rames said. She also declined to indicate exactly where in Adrian the remains were found.

The remains were taken to the medical examiner’s officer at Roy L. Schneider Hospital, where they will be tested.

Two St. John residents have gone missing in recent years. Seara Samantha James was 21 when she was last seen Oct. 11, 2011. Coral Bay resident Nicky Brady went missing in November 2006. He was then 41.

No trace of either of them was found.

Rames said the skeletal remains won’t be evaluated over the weekend.

  1. I find it hard to believe that they won’t evaluate the skeletal remains over the weekend but shall keep the poor families of those missing people waiting to find out if it is the remains of their loved one. Shameful!
