Gwendolyn Boyd of 5A Altona and Welgunst died on Nov. 19, at the Schneider Medical Center. She was 88 years old.
She is survived by her granddaughter, Michelle Sibilly-Francis; grandson-in-law, Milton Francis Jr.; great-great granddaughter, Shenika Burton; sisters: France Elaine Sibilly, Clara Bryan and Clorien Morgan; brothers: Bernard Sibilly and Albert Sibilly; as well as many other nieces and nephews, relatives and friends.
A first viewing will be held from 4:30-6 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 2, at Davis Funeral Home Chapel. A second viewing will be held from 8:30-9:30 a.m. on Monday, Dec. 3, at Davis Funeral Home Chapel followed by a funeral service at 10 a.m. at Sts. Peter and Paul Cathedral. Interment will be at Amityville Cemetery, Long Island, N.Y.
