The St. John Junior Tennis Tournament, held in honor of Dr. Gilbert Sprauve, ended this past weekend after having been postponed because of rain. They all played their hearts out, displaying sportsmanship, poise and gamesmanship beyond their ages.
The results are as follows:
Girls 14-and-under: Winner-Taylor Robinson, Finalist-Brittany Leonard
Boys 14-and-under: Winner-Jaydan Jacobs, Finalist-Joshua Gomez
Girls 12-and-under: Winner-Brittany Leonard, Finalist-Diantha Mathews, 3rd place-Skyler Bell, 4th place-Gabrielle Boschulte, 5th place-Lily de Leon
Boys 12-and-under: Winner-Kevin Hughes Jr., Finalist-Sky Bitschnau-Moraino, 3rd place-Luca Hotze, 4th place-Jonathon Gomez, 5th place-Brandon Jackson
