UVI'S WEEKLONG HUMANITIES FESTIVAL STARTS

Among events planned by the University of the Virgin Islands for the 40th Anniversary is a weeklong Humanities Festival.
The opening ceremony is Monday, April 1, from noon to 2 p.m. in Chase Auditorium on the St. Thomas campus, and it will feature a lecture by Dr. Gilbert Sprauve.
Events coming up include a lecture by Pulitzer Prize winning reporter Melvin Claxton, a library conference, a journalism forum, creative expressions at sea, another UVI good time on the "Green", and recital. For details on these events see Source section Community/Other stuff.
