Maybe John DeJongh was the right man? Could we have missed an opportunity? The governor's Christmas gift to himself and the members of the soon-to-be 25th Legislature is an embarrassment.
Maybe Adelbert Bryan was right: A "Conspiracy of Silence" may exist? As crime continues to explode and the infrastructure falls apart, those responsible for the territory are caught, lining their pockets. What a shame. What is going on in the U.S. Virgin Islands? What about the other priorities: basic supplies for schools, hospital and police? Are these no longer a concern? Have the killings stopped? Are the schools accredited? Are the hospitals safe? Waiting in silence is not the answer. The problem must be addressed. The true leader of the incoming Legislature must step up to the plate and stop this madness. Where do David Jones, Douglas Canton Jr. and Raymond "Usie" Richards stand in this drama?
