CZM HEARING ON WATER LINK DELAYED TO MONDAY

This is in response to your article on
St. John's CZM board vacancies and quorum problems.
What a shame for St.John. with no effort to create a more representative government for our island, with no town meetings, with no town council, with no steering committees, with no master planning, no chamber of commerce,
St. John can't even find two people to fill the St. John CZM board. Without evolvement of the community and a more representative body of governance, where do good leaders come from?
I fault Gov. Turnbull, who campaigned for and promised island/town councils, for doing nothing to improve St. John's representation. while other islands are being master planned, Administrator Harley keeps St. John in the dark with a private committee of his own creation, which rarely meets, is poorly attended, and with most members gone or not St. Johnians. It hasn't even achieved the goals of their simple "signage contest". Oh, by the way, the Harley committee which is master planning St. John, has not come up with a single new parking spot in four years.
Wake up governor, St. John isn't just a cash cow, we have urgent needs which require attention, not neglect.
