Volunteer Child-Care Consultants Needed

0

July 20, 2004 – If you're a retired nurse or a health professional with time to spare, the Human Services Department's Division of Childcare Regulatory and Volunteer Services wishes you would volunteer to serve as a child care health consultant on St. John.
"It's a minimum of two hours a week," program coordinator, Gabrielle Benjamin Disashi said.
She said the volunteers work at licensed private day care centers. They serve as resource people to help staff find services for the children.
She said that the St. Thomas roster of volunteers is filled.
If you'd like to volunteer, call Benjamin Disashi at 774-0930, extension 4187.
