Oct. 30, 2004 – By calling 24 hours in advance, the elderly and handicapped can make arrangements on all three islands to get transportation to the polls Nov. 2 through VITRAN, Wayne D. Callwood, Public Works commissioner, said in a release.
Voters in need are asked to call a day in advance to 774-0165 on St. John, 773-1290 on St. Croix or 774-5678 on St. Thomas. For more information call Public Works at 774-1301.
