Nov. 2, 2004 – David LLadro, a member of the Board of Administration of the manufacturer of LLadro Porcelain Sculptures, will officially inaugurate the LLadro Store at the Crystal Shoppe in the A.H. Riise Mall. The LLadro store is the first of its kind in the Caribbean.
LLadro will personally sign any sculpture purchased during his visit. Only members of the LLadro family are allowed to sign the sculptures.
According to a press release, Mr. LLadro is looking forward to visiting St. Thomas, talking with porcelain art lovers, and sharing their interest in LLadro porcelain.
LLadro will be at the LLadro Store in the Crystal Shoppe from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. and from 2 p.m. till 4 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 8 and Tuesday, Nov. 9. The public is invited to attend.
