Nov. 10, 2004 — Bob Austin, president of the Advertising Club of the Virgin Islands, announced the deadline for receiving entries for the 2005 ADDY Awards is Jan. 14, 2005. "This is a particularly important event," Austin said, "since this is the first time that our winners’ work will go to the Fourth District and compete nationally."
The judging will be done by three non-island professionals on Jan. 21, and the award taking entries will go to Fourth District on Feb. 21. The ADDY Awards Gala will take place in early March, with date and location to be determined. The Fourth District will announce winners on March 28.
The Ad Club will be mailing Call for Entries notices this month to both members and non-members. Advertising, marketing and publicity endeavors must cover the period of May 1, 2003, to Dec. 31, 2004. For more information call 776-0291.
