Nov. 11, 2004 – Vehicles with a wheel base larger than six feet wide, or which have a cab more than seven feet high are prohibited from traveling on the one-way Government Hill section of Kongens Gade.
A release from Elvin R. Fahie Sr., deputy police chief on St. Thomas, said large sized vehicles strike the building where James O'Bryan, St. Thomas administrator, has his office.
Police will monitor and give warnings for two weeks beginning Nov. 14. On Monday, Nov. 29 police will begin to enforce the new rule, the release said.
