Deputy Police Chief Herminio Velazquez Announces Road Closure and Parking Lot Closure in St. Croix to Accommodate Cultural Even

Nov. 27, 2004– Deputy Police Chief Velazquez wishes to inform the Motoring Public of the temporary closure of the Parking Lot between the Oscar Henry Scale House and the UCA Building in Frederiksted, St. Croix. This closure will be in effect from November 25-27. 2004. This Closure will allow the United Caribbean Association to hold a Cultural Fair. This Cultural Fair will commence between the hours of 11:00 AM to 5:00 PM daily.
Additionally, in the Christiansted Town Area, on December 2, 20Q4 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM. Queen Cross Street between King and Strand Streets will be closed to host a Benefit for the St. Croix Center Stage. This is a program for talented youths of the Virgin Islands to participate in a musical extravagance to be held in St. Croix on December 2nd, 2004. This event will also be a fundraiser for these talented young people to travel to New York City and perform their show on Broadway.
Deputy Chief Velazquez is asking all motorists to utilize alternate parking areas in both towns during these events. In addition, Deputy Chief Velazquez wishes to thank you for your patience and understanding.
