Governor Departs Territory to Attend Important Meetings

Nov. 30, 2004 — Governor Charles W. Turnbull departed the territory on Monday, November 29th, 2004 to attend the Association of Caribbean Commissioners Police Inter-sessional meeting in Christ Church, Barbados. From there, he will travel to St Kills to attend a Board of Directors meeting of the West Indian Company Limited.
During the governor's absence, Lt. Governor Vargrave Richards will assume the duties as Acting Governor of the U.S. Virgin Islands.
Governor Turnbull is expected back in the territory the second weekend in December.
