Nov. 29, 2004 – Venetta P. Penny, also known as "Netta," of Estate Bovoni died on Nov. 26 at Roy L. Schneider Hospital. Penny, 51 years old, was a housekeeping supervisor at the Wyndham Sugar Bay Hotel for the past 10 years.
She is survived by sons, Keshnel and Nicholas Penny; brothers, Malco Drew and Crispin Penny; sisters, Annette Penny and Shirlene Duporte; close friends, Petronella Claxton, Herman Edwards and Sandra Felecien; co-workers of Wyndam Sugar Bay Hotel; grandchild, Avanique Penny.
Viewing will be from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 2 at Davis Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Friday, Dec. 3, with a viewing at 9 a.m. at Philadelphia Seventh Day Adventist Church. Burial will be at Western Cemetery. Professional arrangements are by Davis Funeral Home.
