Jan. 11, 2004 – Residents of the East End are warned there will be a fireworks display at Great Bay beginning around 9 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 13. The display, part of an awards ceremony taking place at the Ritz Carlton, will last no longer than 10 minutes and should not present a concern for vessels anchored normally.
No boats will be allowed within 500 feet of the beach unless previously authorized, and some boats may be required to relocate during the duration of the show.
