Jan. 11, 2005 – Florence Minney, also known as "Flo" or "Miss Minney" died on Jan. 4 at Roy Lester Schneider Hospital at age 82. Minney was born on St. Thomas, was employed at Continental for 40 years, and Tropicana Perfume Shoppe for 12 years. She was known for her expertise on any perfume available. Her hobby was baking cakes for family and friends, and she was devoted to her job, her church and her children.
Minney is survived by her son, Milton Minney; daughter, Agnes Riccobuono; sister, Flora Duzant; grandchild, Mitchell Riccobuono; great-grandchildren, Mickey Ryan and Mitchell Jr.; numerous nieces and nephews; and special nephew, Joseph "Henry" Quetel.
