March 7, 2005 — Khalid Antonio Gumbs, better known as "Gabo" or "Sylvester" of Oswald Harris Court, died Feb. 24 at Roy L. Schneider Hospital. He was 19 years old.
He is survived by his mother, Joycelyn Sonny; father, Joseph Andrews; stepfather, Philipp Sonny Sr.; grandmothers, Francelia Gumbs and Lillian F. George; grandfather, Ralph Gumbs Sr.; sisters, Yanique and Yarishma Sonny and Serena Greenaway; brothers, Jamal, Jalaine, Joseph and Jonas Andrews, Michael Blyden, Kasheem and Philipp Sonny Jr.; many other relatives and friends.
The viewing will be held at 9 a.m. Wednesday, March 16 at Memorial Moravian Church. The funeral service follows at 10 a.m. Burial will take place at Western Cemetery. Funeral arrangements are by Davis Funeral Home.
