Funeral Service is Friday for Chanise C. George

March 30, 2005 – A funeral service for Chanise C. George is set for Friday. Chanise, also known as "Chan" died at the age of 14 at the Roy L. Schneider Hospital.
Chanise is survived by her mother Ursula Rawlins-George; her father Elston George; her grandmothers Hycinth Rawlins of St. Thomas and Pauline George of St. Thomas; special grandfather Alexander Fluellen, of Atlanta; aunts Joan Rawlins of Atlanta, Ga., Stacy L. Rose of Atlanta, Ga., Denise George of Brooklyn, N.Y., Deniece Turnbull-Rawlins, June Rawlins-Simmonds, of Temple Hills, Md., Julie Morton, of St. Croix, Lorna Carty-Monsanto of Atlanta, Ga., Judith Rose of Atlanta Ga., Valerie Rwlins, Therecia Rawlins, and Cathea Anthony-George; uncles Alston George, Elroy George Jr., Danny Rawlins, Clyde Rawlins, Dwight Rawlins, Bryan Rawlins and Dennis Rawlins; great aunts Winifred David, Marlene Hendricks, Lillian Vanterpool, Albertha Rose, Iona Walters, Crisida Rhymer, Rita Emmanuel, Blanch Emmanuel and Mavis George; God parents Jemima Parris, Jhoy Caines, Yvette Samuel, Eartha Estrill, Fredrick Forbes; and other family members and friends from the Flemming, Hendricks, Jackson, Maduro, Smith, Turnbull and Walters families.
The first viewing will be from 4 to 6 p.m. Thursday at the Davis Funeral home.
The second viewing will take place from 10 to 11 a.m. Friday at the Pentecostal Church in Estate Hoffman. The viewing will be followed immediately by the funeral service at 11 a.m.
Burial will be at Western Cemetery No. 3.
