Good Hope Student Does Well in Arizona

May 15, 2005 – The Good Hope School had six upper school students participating in the INTEL International Science and Engineering Fair in Phoenix, Ariz., last week. Good Hope is the only INTEL affiliated science fair school in the territories. The fair had 1,400 students from 40 countries and all 50 states. Paul Jacobs won 4th Place Mathematics Grand Award at the Intel International Science and Engineering Fair. The Good Hope School was incorporated in 1967 when Good Hope and Country Day became two schools. It currently has 300 students.
Members of this year's graduating class of 28 have been accepted to: Stanford, Harvard, Princeton, MIT, The University of Chicago, U.S. Naval Academy, Rice, Rollins, Dickinson, Smith, U. of Conn., U. of Rochester, WVU School of Forensic Science, Notre Dame de Namur University, U. Penn, Wesleyan, Brown, Drew, Howard, and Bard College.
