June 6, 2005 – The final leg of the 2005 cycling season kicked off on Sunday with Anything Goes #3, which featured an east to west ride from the fort in Christiansted to the fort in Frederiksted. As in all anything goes events on St. Croix, each rider chose the route he desired to race. The primary factors, which enter into this calculation, include topography, distance and road surface. Jamie Keys and John Riggs raced together down Centerline Rd., and Keys emerged the victor when he took the faster route through the streets of Freedom City. Riggs finished only one second behind, and will surely use his hard won knowledge to his advantage in the next edition of the race. Cruzan Sprocket teammates Gabe Webber, Sure Brown and John Frongillo rounded out the top five. The next event on the calendar is a road race on the North Shore, starting at Rust op Twist, on June 19 at 7 a.m.
