Senator White is Pleased to Informed Estate Nadir Residents and the Surronding Area that the Funds are Now in Place for the Potable Water Expansion

Senator Celestino A. White, Sr. is pleased to inform residents of the Estate Nadir Housing community and the surrounding area that the funds are now in place for the long awaited potable water expansion.
Bill 26-003, which was signed into law by Governor Charles Turnbull on March 5, 2005 made available $360,000 from the Virgin Islands Public Finance Authority. The money was recently released by the Office of Management and Budget, and the project is "marked ready", according to Senator White.
"I am pleased that after a series of delays, this project will soon become a reality and residents of Estate Nadir and the surrounding area will be able to rejoice in the cry "water, water everywhere and so much to drink". I will not stop here as I remain steadfast in my commitment to ensure that all outline areas in this District are connected to the potable system," further stated Senator White.
"I wish to thank Senator Roosevelt David and my colleagues in the 26th Legislature, His Excellency the Governor and Budget Direct Ira Mills for their support and assistance in making this long awaited project a reality," concluded Senator White.
