Nov. 14, 2005 – Construction crews from Public Works will be working on Norre Gade from Emancipation Garden Post Office Square east to DeBeltjen Road beginning Monday night. While the road work is going on – probably until Friday – parking will be prohibited.
The crews will be milling the roadway in preparation for repaving it.
The work will be done at night, according to a release from George Phillips, acting commissioner of Public Works.
Motorists are asked to use caution when driving in the area, though flagmen will be available, the release said, to direct traffic.
