What's Coming Up on the Next Doug Lewis Show

Nov. 29, 2005 – Tune into the Doug Lewis Show on WVGN 107.3 FM this Sunday, Dec. 4, from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. This Sunday you will be entertained by Neil Diamond, Jade Redd, Stephen Stills, the Ojays, Willie Nelson and much more.
The Modern Music Feature CD is Neil Diamond's 12 Songs. This CD features a more stripped down sound than we usually hear from Neil. It is produced by Rick Rubin, the legendary and acclaimed producer, who produced the last few Johnny Cash CDs. It highlights Neil and his guitar and does away with the lush orchestrations heard on Diamond's most recent CDs.
The Indie Spotlight CD is by a new group called Jade Redd. The CD is called Rivers of Stone and was produced by Jay Ferguson, former member of Spirit and Jo Jo Gunne. It has a bit of a new age type sound with Madalena's heavenly vocals.
We have new music from Stephen Stills, Lauren Sheehan, Danny Brooks, Ana Popovic and more.
We also celebrate the birthdays of former Byrd, Chris Hillman; English vocalist, Kate Rusby; and Beachboy, Dennis Wilson.
We also include music from Maxx Cabello, who is touring the territory with his electric blues; The Pop Tarts, who play at Latitude 18 in St. Thomas on Dec. 9; and the Ojays, who visit the Reichhold Center in February.
We also include songs from Tom Russell, Bob Marley and the Wailers, Carl Perkins, Willie Nelson, the Beatles and more.
Tune in for a chance to win some great prizes. We are giving away the debut CD from an exciting young singer-songwriter Danielia Cotton, who has a very soulful sound, as well as a copy of Cream's Reunion Concert CD, which is a two CD set recorded at the Royal Albert Hall in London.
Doug Lewis Show is underwritten by Hook, Line, and Sinker, and Molly Molones.
