Copenhagen Chamber Ensemble to Perform

Dec. 20, 2005 — The Copenhagen Chamber Ensemble will stop on St. Thomas and St. Croix and give concerts on its way to Puerto Rico next month.
The late-January concerts are part of a cultural exchange program between Denmark and the Virgin Islands.
The group will give a concert at 8 p.m. Jan. 22 at the Island Center for the Performing Arts on St. Croix. A candlelight reception with wine and appetizers will start at 7 p.m. that evening. Tickets are $40.
The group will also play on Jan. 24 and 25 on St. Thomas, with times and a location still to be announced.
The Copenhagen Chamber Ensemble is 20 years old this year. The group of five plays the flute, oboe, violin, cello and harpsichord. The musicians have played in North and South America and Europe, on television and radio as well as in front of live audiences.
