Copenhagen Chamber Ensemble Coming to the V.I.
As part of the cultural exchange program between Denmark and the Virgin Islands, the Copenhagen Chamber Ensemble will give a concert at 8 p.m. on Sunday, Jan. 22, at St. Croix's Island Center for the Performing Arts. Prior to the concert, a candle light reception with wine and hors d'oeuvres will start at 7 p.m. The price is $40 per person.
Since 1978, the ensemble has given concerts throughout the world, specializing in both baroque and contemporary music. Their program includes music by Handel, Telemann, Niels Viggo Bentzon and Vivaldi, among others.
