Jan. 12, 2006 – The St. Croix Chapter of the Ad Club of the Virgin Islands will present Marketing on a Shoestring, with guest speaker Sabrina S. McLaughlin, at 6 p.m., Tuesday, Jan.17 at the Cormorant. The meeting is open to the public, with a dinner buffet and a cash bar. Admission is $26 for new and existing members and $36 for non-members. RSVP before noon Monday, Jan. 16. All new members will receive a business card file and are urged to bring their own cards for networking. Door prizes will be awarded.
McLaughlin is the owner and operator of The PR Girl Inc. (www.theprgirl.com), a full-service public relations firm in Florida, and has been nationally recognized for her award-winning public relations program development and copy writing skills, according to a press release from the Ad Club.
The Ad Club of the Virgin Islands is a volunteer association comprised of members of the advertising, marketing and business community. It holds monthly luncheons featuring leaders of the advertising and marketing industry to educate members and the public about advertising and marketing issues, trends and techniques.
