Feb. 27, 2006 – The Virgin Islands Community Cooperation Thoroughbred Retirement Effort (VICCTRE) is hosting an open house on Saturday, March 4, from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m., at the St Thomas Dairies. The public is welcome to visit with the horses and members of the organization. Wine and cheese will be served.
VICCTRE is a registered non-profit organization that assists the community with horse rescue, rehabilitation and retirement. The grassroots group has saved 21 horses since its inception in 2004.
