DPNR/Fish and Wildlife Has Calendar Contest

March 24, 2006 – The Department of Planning and Natural Resources' Division of Fish and Wildlife invites all high school students throughout the territory to participate in the 2007 Aquatic Education Calendar Contest. This year's theme is "Responsible Resource Use in the Virgin Islands."
Twelve entries will be selected to represent each month of the year. Artwork selected will be used to produce The 2007 Fish and Wildlife Aquatic Education Program calendar for distribution to the local schools, tourists and environmental educators. All artwork selected will be signed by the artist, and a brief biography on the artist will be included in the calendar.
Students may participate by submitting their original 8" x 11" color artwork based on the contest theme to the Fish and Wildlife office in Red Hook, St. Thomas or Frederiksted, St. Croix, by the end of business day on Monday, May 15.
