April 3, 2006 – The Charles H. Emanuel Elementary School, in observance of the "Week of the Young Child," April 2- through April 8, and of the theme: "Build Better Futures for All Children", will hold the following activities:
Monday, April 3 – Cartoon Characters Parade for kindergarten and first grade students beginning at 9 a.m.
Tuesday, April 4 – Story Reading: sixth grade students will read to kindergarten and first grade students.
Wednesday, April 5 – Parent-student luncheon – parents of primary students are invited to have lunch with their children.
Thursday, April 6 – Kindergarten and first grade students will participate in kite flying activity and display their work.
