April 20, 2006 – Community members are invited to participate in a cleanup and beach BBQ at Great Pond in commemoration of Earth Day. The event will be held from 9 a.m. to noon, on Saturday, April 22. It is being sponsored by Virgin Islands Waste Management Authority and The Nature Conservancy. Participants are asked to meet at the marked entrance off of East Great Pond Road.
