What's Up Next on the Doug Lewis Show

Jan. 8, 2008 – Tune into the Doug Lewis Show on WVGN 107.3 FM from 2 to 4 p.m., on Sunday, Jan. 13. This Sunday we will feature music by Keith Urban, Waylon Thibodeaux, Queen Latifah, Terri Hendrix, the Phantom Blues Band, Sean Carney and more.
The Modern Music Feature CD is "Keith Urban's Greatest Hits" by Australian country artist Keith Urban. He gets airplay on mainstream country radio but has also earned the respect of the alternative country crowd. This compilation includes all of Keith's biggest hits.
The Indie Spotlight CD is "In Jackson Square" by Cajun rocker Waylon Thibodeaux. Waylon also throws some country and a touch of the blues into his Cajun music mix. This fine Louisiana musician will be one of the artists playing at this year's St. John Blues Festival.
We play new music from Dar Williams, Queen Latifah, Lyle Lovett, Peter Mulvey, Root Doctor and more.
We also play music from Roger McGuinn, Tom T. Hall, the Dixie Chicks and more.
We remember American songwriting great Stephen Foster on the anniversary of his death.
We include music from Terri Hendrix, who will be appearing at Tillett Gardens Jan. 23, on St. Thomas. We also include music from some of the artists who will be performing in January for the St. Croix Blues Festival, including Terrance Simien, the Phantom Blues Band and Mitch Woods. We play music from singer-songwriter Don Dilego, who will be playing dates on St. John and St. Thomas in January. We also play music from Sean Carney, who will be performing this year at the St. John Music Festival.

We give away a copy of the new live release from acoustic-blues artist Eric Bibb and also give away a CD and DVD sampler of live tracks from R.E.M.
Doug Lewis Show is underwritten by Hook, Line and Sinker; Molly Molones; and St. Thomas Radiology Associates.
