The Virgin Islands National Track and Field Championships will be held at 8 a.m. on Thursday, March 31, on St. Croix, according to a press release from the V.I. Track and Field Federation (VITFF). Athletes of all ages are invited to compete. Athletes who are eligible for V.I. National teams will:
1) Have the opportunity to receive electronically timed results
2) Be able to use this competition to receive consideration for the qualification for upcoming regional championships including: CAC Senior Championships, Pan American Junior Championships, World University Games, Leeward Islands Championships, CAC Age Group (Youth Championships), CARIFTA and other V.I. National and for IAAF Youth Championships, and the IAAF World Championship teams.
