St. Croix Parent University (PU) family in particular and the school district in general are mourning the passing of Yvette Andrews, a graduate and ardent supporter of PU, who was a beloved four-year employee at St. Croix Central High School.
“On behalf of all PU graduates I express deepest sympathies to the family and loved ones of Yvette Andrews, especially her twin sister, Yvonne Andrews, who also graduated from St. Croix Parent University,” said Janet Brow, PU coordinator and district director of the office of school community relations.
“We have many fond memories of Yvette Andrews. She was an earnest learner. We will miss her dearly at the Parent University,” Brow said.
Janasee Sinclair, principal of St. Croix Central High School, also extends condolences on behalf of students, and faculty and staff to Andrew’s family while reflecting on her kindness and high spirit.
“St. Croix Central High School faculty, staff and students are saddened by the passing of our co-worker and friend, Ms. Yvette Andrews,” Sinclair said. “She leaves both a personal and professional void in our St. Croix Central High School family. She has spent numerous hours in service to our children, and it affects us greatly when one of our very own is no longer with us. We will be comforted with the great memories of her smile, her strength and her kindness.”
