The St. Croix Strategic Economic Development Initiative, Agriculture Development Corporation (SEDI ADC) Farmers Market VI Cooperative Initiative — in conjunction with the UVI Cooperative Extension Service (UVI-CES), Ridge to Reef Farm, Sejah Farm and the Local Farmers Network — is launching the new Farmers Market TV & Marketplace for the VI AgriFest 2015 (http://farmersmarketvi.com)
SEDI VISION 2020, a macro economic and public policy think tank, has partnered with UVI CES and VI Local Farmers, to collaborate on addressing, expanding and improving the U.S. Virgin Islands agriculture industry and markets. (http://sedivision.com/)
UVI Cooperative Extension Service: The University of the Virgin Islands Cooperative Extension Service (UVI CES) is a dynamic, flexible organization dedicated to delivering quality, relevant programs most needed by the people of the territory.
The Agricultural Experiment Station (AES) is located on UVI’s St. Croix Campus. It is part of the research and public service component. The U.S. Virgin Islands are semi-arid, subtropical islands in the Lesser Antilles. The islands are marked by easterly trade winds, which provide a nearly constant breeze, and alternating periods of drought and heavy rain. A long tradition of agriculture on St. Croix provides an ideal location for this research mission.

Farmers Market VI – Farmers Market TV & Marketplace: SEDI farmers will post their locally fresh and organic produce on a regular basis inside "The Marketplace" on Farmers Market TV & Marketplace, which is dedicated to educating, promoting healthy lifestyle eating, and buying local and local farmers
Farmers Market TV & Marketplace will deliver live video streaming directly from the farm into people’s homes, classrooms and community. It delivers in real-time the latest breaking and developing agriculture news and farming news nationally in the United States and in the Caribbean Region.
SEDI ADC will partner with governments, agriculture authorities, schools, colleges and universities, delivering live video content to local communities and the public. The general public, local residents and all VI AgriFest 2015 visitors from abroad will get a preview and a demonstration of the Farmers Market TV & Marketplace. (http://www.viagrifest.org/)
