June 24, 2002 – Nadine Marchena, assistant chief executive officer, will discuss Economic Development Authority benefits for small businesses Thursday, June 27, on St. Thomas.
The UVI Small Business Development Center (SBDC) continues its series of information seminars with the presentation entitled "IDC/EDC Benefits and Small Businesses." The free seminar is presented in collaboration with the Authority from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at the SBDC Training Facility, Suite 720 at Nisky Center, St. Thomas.
Hors d’oeuvres will be served. Pre-registration is required by 2 p.m. on Wednesday, June 26.
Marchena will speak on basic benefits, the application process, and other programs for small businesses. This seminar will allow small business people to capitalize on the EDC benefits information that they perhaps thought was only applicable to large businesses, said a release.
