Sen. Vargrave Richards, who chairs the Youth and Human Services Committee, has invited all youth groups in the territory to testify before the committee on St. Croix Monday, and on St. Thomas March 23.
Youth groups can call his office at 712-2266 to register the name of one representative from each group to offer testimony on issues affecting young people.
Richards stressed in a statement the importance of hearing what young people have to say in order to develop programs suited to their needs and encouraged them to "take part in the process by sharing their views."
Only those whose names are registered with the office can present testimony. Both hearings are at 9:30 a.m., on St. Croix at the Legislature conference room and on St. Thomas in Senate chambers.
