The Hebrew Congregation of St. Thomas has launched a new website at www.onepaper.com/synagogue.
The site contains information about the 205-year-old Congregation and its 167-year-old Synagogue building, a National Historic Landmark that is now undergoing its first major renovation in decades. Photos of the restoration work are on the site. The website also has news of note to congregants and others, including a regularly updated Calendar of Events and stories about Synagogue events and visitors.
"Were delighted to have a new presence on the World Wide Web," said Trudie Prior, congregation president. "We hope this will be a service to our own members as well as the thousands of friends and Chai Members across the globe who are interested in what is happening in this historic Congregation in the Virgin Islands."
The new website is part of the OnePaper.com network of publications. OnePaper Inc. is an online company that enables individuals and organizations to publish newspapers, newsletters, magazines and virtually any other kind of publication online using only their web browsers.
Prior welcomed comments on the new website and submissions for it via e-mail to the Synagogue at [email protected].
