Dr. Richard C. Adler, M.D. will present a lecture about a break-through in the field of medical testing to be held at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 18 at The Bridge Club – Al Cohen's Plaza -Raphune Hill.
Adler, a pediatrician, is the former chief medical officer of Provident Life and Accident and has served as vice president for Medical Affairs and medical director for such HMO's as CIGNA Health Plan and Humana.
A pioneer in the field of wellness and health promotion, he recently joined Ideal Heath, a company which has successfully developed customized ways to promote heath and prevent disease.
This new service will help people understand how to determine for themselves the appropriate balance of food and vitamins to help prevent devastating problems like heart disease, diabetes, high blood pressure, stroke and obesity.
In addition, Adler will discuss how to relieve the most common form of stress – financial stress.
