The Labor Department offices on St. Croix will be closed Friday, Aug. 20, from 1 p.m. so that employees may attend a staff meeting.
The St. Thomas offices will be closed from 1 p.m. on the preceding day, Aug. 19, for a similar meeting.
The meetings "are essential in order to provide better and expanded services," Labor Commissioner Sonia Jacobs Dow said.
