The Labor Department offices on St. Thomas will be closed Thursday, Aug. 19, from 1 p.m. so that employees may attend a staff meeting.
The St. Croix offices will be closed from 1 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 20, for a similar meeting.
The meetings "are essential in order to provide better and expanded services," Labor Commissioner Sonia Jacobs Dow said.
