Aug. 29, 2006 – The Family Resource Center will hold registration for The Family and Youth Crises Intervention Program, funded by the Department of Human Services. The program, which begins in September, assists youth who are exhibiting negative behaviors and may be having trouble in school. It has a limited number of spaces and will be free.
On Saturdays, it will offer a Rites of Passage component for boys, ages 11 to 14. On Tuesdays, there will be help for both boys and girls ages 11 to 14 who are having behavioral problems. Parenting classes are also available on Tuesdays for those who want to develop an improved relationship with their children.
For more information or to register, contact Greg McGriff at 776-9085.
