April 26, 2007 – Look for an end to the wet weather that damped Thursday morning's J'ouvert on St. Thomas by Thursday afternoon, National Weather Service meteorologist Shawn Rossi said from San Juan Thursday morning.
"It will be getting better each day," Rossi said.
He said that there's a 30 percent chance of rain on Friday, with the number decreasing to 20 percent on Saturday.
"Saturday will be the best day," he said.
He said that the rain will come in passing showers.
While the weather ahead for the territory looks better than Thursday, it's still a good idea to pack an umbrella for the Children's Parade on Friday and the Adult Parade on Saturday. If rain showers go somewhere else, use them to keep the sun at bay.
