Engineers and Architects Sought for AutoCAD Course

July 10, 2007 – Persons interested in learning how to develop two-dimensional drawings are urged to register for the upcoming AutoCAD course that will be taught at the University of the Virgin Islands' Community Engagement and Lifelong Learning (UVICELL) Center. The course is scheduled to take place from 6-8 p.m., on Tuesdays and Thursdays, Aug. 7 to Oct. 11, at the UVICELL Center on the St. Thomas Campus.
AutoCAD is the leading program for computer-aided design throughout the world. It is an essential tool in many industries, including mechanical and civil engineering, architecture, facilities planning and management. The course introduces the AutoCAD software and functions in a step-by-step method. It provides practical, hands-on training used to create or edit basic drawings.
