Aug. 29, 2008 – Fantasy Fox Entertainment will present a Labor Day Beach Jam beginning at 11 a.m., on Sunday, Aug. 31, at Hull Bay Hideaway, St. Thomas. The day will begin with a BBQ cookout and smokers. Guest DJ Tony T from 105Jamz will play great tunes throughout the day. Games for kids will also begin around 11 a.m., giving all ages the chance to win prizes and giveaways.
A Volleyball Olympics will be held from 3-5 p.m. Teams with a minimum of 4 players will be given the chance to win great prizes and also be apart of contributing to the community. Proceeds from the volleyball tournament will go towards Virgin Islands Resource Center for the Disabled, a private non-profit organization for V.I. residents of all ages. Their programs for kids are designed to teach social, educational, behavioral, technological and life-basic skills that aid them in becoming equiped and beneficial members to society.
The volleyball fee is $10 per person. There will be a VIRCD representative to answer any questions the day of the event. After the tournament, there will be a half hour to one hour of free salsa and bachata dance lessons for all who want to participate. Around 6 p.m., Fantasy Fox will step up the nighttime entertainment bringing to the stage the Virgin Islands band, P'Your Passion. Ladies are free before 6 p.m. $10 dollars at the door.
