Jan. 17, 2008 – The Christian Science Society of St. Thomas and St. John will hold services and Bible lessons at 10:45 a.m., on Sundays and at 7:30 p.m., on Wednesdays, in the conference center on the third level of the Market Place, St. John.
The Bible lesson this Sunday, Jan. 20, will discuss "Life Everlasting" and several instances in the Bible about overcoming death. On Sunday, Jan. 27, the meeting topic will be "Truth: How Truth Can Set You Free in Your Daily Lives."
On Wednesday, Jan. 30, the topic will be "Relief from Taxing." Wednesday meetings include selections from the Bible and from "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy and testimonies of healing by spiritual means alone given by the congregation.
Transportation is available to pick up visitors and members from St. Thomas arriving on the 10 a.m. ferry from Red Hook or other arrangements from the ferry from downtown Charlotte Amalie or the British Virgin Islands.
