The Department of Human Services requests that all senior staff and program administrators report to their respective stations this morning, Friday, Oct. 8, at 10 a.m. to assess possible structural damages and report to their division’s senior staff member. All staff assigned to 24 hour residential facilities are to report according to their shift schedule as well as maintenance staff to their respective sites. All other staff are not required to report to work.
The staff is advised to use caution when traversing the roadways. All Head Start and senior citizen centers will remain closed. Family members of persons who receive emergency meals from the Meals on Wheels program are urged to ensure that their loved ones consume the emergency meal. The DHS provides emergency meals as necessary to clients who have dire needs.
