The Virgin Islands Police Department, St. Croix district, is continuing its Summer Challenge blood drive from 3-6 p.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 17. The mobile blood collection van will be at the Ann Schrader Command in the La Reine Shopping Center.
The public is invited to join with rank and file police officers and the civilian staff to donate to the Governor Juan F. Luis Hospital blood bank. Police protect and save the lives of Virgin Islanders every day and it is important that the community continue to help those when they most need it.
Individuals as well as corporations, civic associations and other groups are encouraged to urge their members to join with the VIPD.
