First Friday Business Expo, a social business networking group, will hoits November social networking event at Caribbean Auto Mart, located in Tutu, from 5-8 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 2.
This event is also a fundraiser for Pistarckle Theater, a local non-profit theater. Each season Pistarckle presents five full-length plays as part of its subscription season. Additional programming includes an eight-week STARZ After School Training Program, The Shakespeare Festival,
Summer Camp and Leadership Camp. The theater is determined to provide excellent training for future performing artists, create challenging productions to keep talented performers in residence, attract outside artists to engage and complement the existing artist population, and always build a stronger audience.
First Friday Business Expo events are targeted toward business professionals but are open to anyone looking to be empowered by social networking with the best and brightest in the St. Thomas area. These professionals come together for networking, knowledge sharing and professional career advancement opportunities within a social setting.
There will be complimentary appetizers, a cash bar, music by Flip Switch and DJ Snow, and an exclusive look at Caribbean Auto Mart’s latest show room vehicles.
There will be no cost for the event, but there is a raffle that will benefit Pistarckle Theater. Additionally, for every vehicle sold during the event, $1000 will be donated to the theater.
