Governor Charles W. Turnbull has proclaimed the week of April 18-24, as Infant Immunization Week in the Virgin Islands.
The governor stressed the importance of preventing diseases that place children at risk.
All members of the community need to take the responsibility of spreading the word about the proper immunization before the age of two, according to Governor Turnbull.
