AT&T-Virgin Islands still hasn't named a replacement for Ilene Heyward, who resigned as general manager March 31.
Shelly de Chabert, the company's spokeswoman, said AT&T is in a "transition phase" with various managers sharing responsibilities until Heyward's successor is appointed.
Heyward headed the telecommunications firm's V.I. operations for two somewhat turbulent years before opting to take an early retirement package. She replaced Barry Florence in the post.
AT&T-V.I. has 30 employees.
